No big deal

In the scheme of our lives this is no big deal but when we were at the NIH Gabe had a psychological evaluation and the psychologist said Gabe had a weak grasp. When we got back home I asked his teachers and they agreed. I was kind of annoyed that all year they never said anything and here we are in June and they are agreeing with this.  Anyway, today they had an OT who sees another child give a quick evaluation of his fine motor skills. I also had a PT friend of mine look at him last week. Everyone was in agreement that he is slightly weak with his fine motor skills and also slightly low tone. He did receive PT when he was younger (between 1-2) but then the therapist thought he didn’t need it anymore.  It really is no big deal and I know he will catch up eventually, but it’s just another thing on my plate that I need to deal with! I’ll add it to the list of things I need to do over the next few months!
